About the team/role
As the Senior Accountant, you will report to the Accounting Senior Manager. You will take ownership of some of our General Ledger processes, which include but are not limited to overseeing month-end close and consolidations, preparing and reviewing accrual journal entries, reconciling cash, cash equivalents and investments, partnering with budget owners and Financial Planning and Strategy (FP&S) to ensure accurate financials, and assisting in ad-hoc technical accounting research and analysis.
What you’ll do
- Oversee the accounting month-end close and consolidation processes
- Reconcile cash and cash equivalents and estimate accruals
- Prepare monthly accounting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in the evaluation and adoption of accounting standard updates, including documenting conclusions around complex and technical accounting areas (GAAP technical accounting)
- Oversee continuous process improvement projects for areas of responsibility
- Perform financial statement analysis and communicate findings to finance management
- Assist with managing the annual financial audits and monthly/quarterly reporting for board meetings.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA qualification is strongly preferred;
- Considerable years of accounting-related work experience (Big 4 accounting experience a plus);
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud (preferably);
- Experience with close management software a plus (preferably FloQast);
- Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects while continuing to meet goals and deadlines; and
- Excellent organizational skills, customer service orientation, attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills.

The base salary range for this role is $105,000 to $123,000 in Denver, CO.
