About the Role

Truework, recently acquired by Checkr, provides access to crucial employment and income information needed for mortgage loans, apartment rentals, background checks and more. We are disrupting a $5B+ industry, dominated by legacy incumbents, with a better product and intense customer focus. Within Checkr, Truework operates independently, allowing rapid iteration while also being able to leverage the strengths and assets from our core business. Think of it like joining a startup within a startup!

As a Demand Partnerships Manager on the Truework team, you will own the management and execution of a strategy and implementation that maximizes and accelerates Truework becoming the #1 provider of Income and Employment Verification.

You will own relationships with strategic partners, onboard new partners, and drive go-to-market activities. You will be working with both referral partners who send leads to our Sales team, and Product partners who drive sign-ups via integrations. The ideal candidate should be able to create a strategic vision for their partners, and bring their plan to fruition. We treat partners like our customers, and you will work closely with all parts of our team, including Product, Sales, Marketing, and other functions.

What you’ll do

  • Manage executive-level relationships with Truework’s demand partners
  • Lead the go-to-market process for your partners, including sales enablement and marketing, with the end goal of identifying joint value propositions, aligning Truework and partner teams, and building best-in-class solutions on the partner platform
  • Ideate and own monetization, product, and growth strategies to achieve activation and revenue targets
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, operations, product, sales, and customer success to drive key initiatives both within Truework and with our partner organizations
  • Track partner performance against goals and share learnings on how and where to improve
  • Collaborate and problem-solve at all levels of the partner’s organization and become the connector to different stakeholders within Truework & Checkr

What you bring

  • 5+ years of prior experience in tech or fintech partnerships
  • Knowledge of tech platforms ranging from nCino-ICE-Blend to Yardi-Entrata-Realpage and other platforms in the mortgage and tenant markets
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and independent self-starter
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, and grit to find different ways to achieve results - you think big, but no task is too small
  • Product-orientation and familiarity with APIs proven ability to collaborate with product and engineering teams
  • Experience with data analytics and financial/operational metrics. Data is your friend.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a consultative approach in addressing partner needs
  • Detail-oriented and highly skilled in project management amid complex, ambiguous situations
  • Positive attitude and high energy level to match Checkr’s fast-paced, start-up environment
  • Consistent drive, sense of urgency to achieve results

At Checkr, we believe a hybrid work environment strengthens collaboration, drives innovation, and encourages connection. Our hub locations are Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, and Santiago, Chile. Individuals are expected to work from the office 2 to 3 days a week. In-office perks are provided, such as lunch four times a week, a commuter stipend, and an abundance of snacks and beverages.

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The on-target earnings range for this role is $145,000 to $170,000 in San Francisco, CA.
