Our team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing, building, and deploying high-quality solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who thinks out of the box, takes ownership, and thrives in a fast-moving start-up environment.   

 
You’ll be in great company:  

Work alongside our seasoned leadership team that has successfully built and sold start-ups within the education technology space. We're partnered with Cie, a venture studio that brings ideas, resources, and talent together.   

How you’ll make an impact:  

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to build out both the development architecture and underlying infrastructure  
  • Distill high-level product requirements into technical recommendations - stacks, infrastructure, and services  
  • Assist in product road mapping by providing accurate time estimates and technical recommendations  
  • Nimble with the ability to quickly pivot and adjust as product requirements evolve  
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced development environment  

What you'll bring to the table:   

  • Expert in designing and implementing enterprise cloud architecture using .NET Core, C#, Angular, Redis, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch  
  • Demonstrated history of delivering exceptional work in enterprise cloud environments  
  • Extensive experience utilizing cloud services, with a particular emphasis on AWS and Azure 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with a start-up culture  
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse personalities  
  • Motivated to learn and stay up to date with emerging technologies and project requirements     
  • Effectively communicates technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders

$160,000/year to $180,000/year + early stage equity + benefits
