You will work with our all-star team on our customized CI/CD-driven WordPress stack. Our code bases include custom component systems based on Elementor or Visual Composer.

In the last 5 years, the Consumer Brands team has experienced rapid growth with no signs of stopping. We're looking for passionate, collaborative people to join our engineering team to help us take charge of building next-generation tech stacks, applications, products, and microservices. 

Is this the right job for you? As a senior software engineer, you will work within the engineering team to develop products, tools, and services for Clearlink and our various partners. You will find yourself a major player in project planning, laying out technical requirements, communicating roadblocks, and working with other cross-functional teams on many high-level projects. 

An ideal candidate for this position will have experience collaborating with many different teams, excelling in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and eager to help guide others as a subject matter expert. The Impact You Will Make

  • Develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals.
  • Responsible for project life-cycle, analysis, development, implementation, support and improvement
  • Self-prioritizing and working with your team lead to manage your workload 
  • Coding using JavaScript and PHP, CSS, and popular associated frameworks 
  • Using CircleCI to manage deployments between development and staging environments
  • Working in WordPress component frameworks and assisting with general troubleshooting
  • Design and maintain coding standards to improve developer experience and product maintenance
  • Sharing your skill set and experience with the broader team
  • Contribute to team planning, problem-solving, and theory crafting

What You Bring 

  • A strong desire to learn from others and to help guide others through their learning journey
  • 5+ years experience in web development or product engineering industry 
  • Strong understanding of incorporating and working with third-party api data and endpoints 
  • Extensive understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and associated frameworks), and the architecture of performant, responsive websites 
  • Extensive understanding of MySQL and database strategies
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript and familiarity with implementing popular frameworks like React, Angular, Node, etc. 
  • Strong understanding of common DevOps workflows 
  • Strong experience working with version control systems, such as GitHub 
  • Ability to work well in groups focusing on close collaboration
  • High proficiency in written and verbal technical communication Preferred 
  • Experience working on web applications, service-oriented architecture, high-availability architecture
  • Experience with WordPress, WordPress plugin development, and the WordPress API 
  • Experience modeling and creating custom APIs for rapid development 
  • Solid understanding of modern SEO standards
