The Role:
We are looking for an Associate Director to work as part of the Clear Street LLC’s Clearing / Syndicate Operations team, a part of the Operations division. This role will primarily be Syndicate Operations functions. You will own the functions around Syndicate/New Issue eligibility, booking & settlement. Ensure reporting accuracy while contributing to the consistent optimization of our functions. You will communicate with internal traders and banking team members to support timely settlement and accuracy of books and records. You will coordinate externally with deal participants to facilitate proper closing mechanics of capital market transactions.
- You will apply for DTC eligibility for new issues
- You will liaise with the Investment Banking team to ensure proper tracking of deal lifecycle events
- You will monitor & resolve client failures to ensure timely settlement.
- You will contribute to process improvement and the general operation of the team
Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ of professional experience in middle/back-office functions
- Proficiency in NSCC & DTCC applications
- Basic understanding of Capital Markets deal structures
- Series 7 is preferred, if not, Series 7 within 6 months of hire date
- Strong Communication and Organization skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- You enjoy increasing efficiency by utilizing technology
The Base Salary Range for this role is $125,000-150,000. This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Where a candidate falls in this range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. This range represents Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The range stated does not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.
