THE TEAM

At Club Monaco, our Merchandising & Assistant Store Management teams play a key role in delivering a world-class shopping experience. Combining strategy and creativity, they ensure our boutiques showcase an inspiring product assortment while flawlessly executing business objectives.

As a Merchandising & Assistant Store Manager, you will:

• Lead and inspire a team to drive sales, deliver exceptional client experiences, and build lasting relationships.
• Curate the product assortment to reflect the Club Monaco brand, ensuring a compelling visual presentation that enhances the in-store experience.
• Strategically manage inventory, overseeing incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure seamless product flow.
• Maintain operational excellence, ensuring all aspects of the boutique—from people and product to space and risk management—run smoothly.
• Develop and mentor your team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align merchandising and business strategies, driving performance and results.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Merchandising & Store Manager has:

• A minimum of 1 year of retail management experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment
• Excellent English communication verbal and written
• Excellent time management/project skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail
• Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands
• Goal oriented: ability to stay focused on creating winning results
• Hours/days of work vary due to the demands of the business
• Must be able to work shift standing and waking and able to lift approximately 20lbs, and to pack, unpack and move stock
• A keen eye for style and design, embodying Club Monaco’s aesthetic and commitment to quality.
• A passion for delivering exceptional service and creating an inviting shopping environment.
• The ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team while driving sales and business objectives.
• Strong merchandising and operational skills, with an understanding of product presentation and inventory flow.
• A commitment to continuous learning and development, both for yourself and your team.
