About the role:

Clutch is looking for a Dealer Relationship Manager to join our Dealer & Wholesale Operations team! You are a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with a passion for the automotive industry. You excel at building strong relationships with various wholesale buyers, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring a thoughtful mindset to pricing and vehicle appraisals. In this role, you will have a significant impact by helping Clutch manage and optimize its wholesale operation, ensuring fast and efficient disposition of inventory across multiple markets.

In this position, you will take ownership of evaluating, appraising, and marketing acquired vehicles, managing a book of business nationwide, and exercising data-driven pricing strategies. Success in this role will be driven by your ability to identify disposition opportunities, analyze market trends, and work collaboratively cross-functionally.

What you’ll do: 

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with various buyers nationwide to ensure a smooth transaction process
  • Leverage various pricing and cost methodologies to appraise vehicles acquired for wholesale
  • Prepare vehicle condition reports to market inventory across multiple markets
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing Clutch wholesale data
  • Keep up to date with pricing trends and auction performance
  • Develop and update dashboards, pricing tools, and reports
  • Effectively coordinate and collaborate cross-functionally

What we’re looking for: 

  • 1-2 years of experience in automotive appraisals, buying, or wholesaling
  • A strong passion for cars is preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail 
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Work alongside a driven team collaboratively where new ideas and solutions are encouraged
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google Sheets
  • Must be comfortable working on-site at our Etobicoke and Mississauga facility

It’d be great if you have:

  • Experience using dealership management systems or wholesale marketplaces
  • Familiarity with vehicle auction processes
