Job Summary:

The Wealth Management (Internal Sales) group provides service to financial advisors, RIAs, Multi Family Offices and Bank Trusts throughout the country working in partnership with Regional Managers to maintain and cultivate relationships. Primary responsibilities are to gather and analyze data, assist with record keeping and improve marketing techniques. Cohen & Steers is committed to an inclusive culture, valuing diversity in support of our people and clients.

 

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Create and update high priority lists in Salesforce CRM
  • Assist National Accounts department in day-to-day activity
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM to measure sales and activity trends across Wealth Management Consulting Group
  • Support Head of Wealth Management Defined Contribution with materials and reporting
  • Phone & Desk shadow Wealth Management Associates routinely to become more familiar with asset management role
  • Aid in the shipments of marketing materials, promotional items, and Internal mailings
  • Research competitor websites and share any relevant updates to enhance Sales team product messaging
  • Update Morningstar templates on terminal and share with the Wealth Management team
  • Implement external lists and reports into Salesforce CRM
  • Assist on various data projects that aid the sales team in targeted outreach and/or aid management in sales reporting

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Undergraduate student with an expected graduation date in 2028
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Strong interest in financial markets 
  • Skilled use of problem-solving and research abilities
  • Able to multitask and prioritize in deadline driven environment
  • Proficient in MS Office with emphasis on Word, Excel and Access
  • Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives
  • Able to meet the firm's work arrangement policy in our New York City office (5 days in-office)

 

Beneficial Skills and Abilities: 

  • Some exposure and knowledge of financial services/asset management a plus
  • Experience within a marketing/sales/client service group a plus
