Coordinator, Clinical Operations - Mandarin Fluency

That’s why we’re seeking a Mandarin speaking Clinical Operations Coordinator, accountable for supporting the operational delivery of a variety of contracted services in a Clinical Trial. These services include Rater Training and Monitoring activities (training deployment, management, and in-study reporting/calibration), Clinician Network Management (ensuring quality and consistency across global clinical interviews), Data Management (opening and resolving data queries), and Scale Management (binder creation, translations, logistics & shipping).

The daily workload for the above functional areas will fluctuate throughout the life cycle of a Clinical Trial. The Clinical Operations Coordinator will be cross trained to support multiple functional areas, flexibly jumping in to assist study teams according to their changing bandwidth needs.

This role will require extensive written interactions with clinicians/raters/CRA’s in both English and Mandarin, documentation and reporting on the progress of service delivery, and customer service support in English and Mandarin over phone and email. Ideal candidates are eager to learn multiple facets of Clinical Trials delivery and enjoy working in dynamic environments where their day-to-day responsibilities will evolve over time.

*Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 per annum, not including applicable bonus structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with study teams across a variety of functional areas to ease bandwidth strain on Coordinator responsibilities detailed below.
  • Processing clinician/rater forms and documenting data via status trackers and ePortal/LMS training systems.
  • Review and process submitted clinician/rater surveys and deploy applicable LMS training modules.
  • Schedule 1:1 training video conferences between site raters and Cogstate Rater Services staff
  • Hardware shipment scheduling and documentation management.
  • Documenting real time updates to applicable status trackers, coordinating high volume email correspondence, communicating status updates to clinicians/raters, electronic records filing.
  • Point of contact for clinician/rater support questions.
  • Direct communication with site coordinators at clinical settings, activity and communication tracking and general support throughout study.
  • Interact with CRAs for site monitoring activities.
  • Provide customer service and translations from English to Mandarin and vice versa when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 1+ years of related experience.
  • Previous project management or administrative support experience preferable
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • A professional level of fluency in Mandarin & English.
