YOUR PURPOSE
Coin Metrics is seeking a Sales Associate in the United States to join our team. As an integral member of our sales organization, you will gain a thorough knowledge of Coin Metrics products and their unique advantages over competitors. You will learn how our sales cycle works and support our sales process from the start. An ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of the sales process, previous experience in inside sales or business development, and is eager to take the next step in their career.
YOUR VALUE
- Support the Growth Team with day to day sales management tasks, including responding to RFPs and other correspondence related to the sales cycle, post-call follow ups, drafting proposals for contracts etc.
- Researching relevant industry segments and identify and qualify potential sales leads. Build and maintain a pipeline of industry qualified sales leads
- Working alongside our growth, product and marketing teams on persona development and targeted product positioning/sales messaging
- Staying informed on competitive developments relevant to our market and tailoring outreach based on industry affairs
- Working with the commercial organization and product owners to organize and improve sales collateral to drive conversions
- Maintaining high quality data customer & prospect data in our CRM
- Working with prospects and sales executives to schedule sales meetings/calls.
- Demo’ing products and tailoring prospect trails
- Ensuring contract execution and handoff seamless handoff of new clients to the customer success team
- Developing subject matter expertise in CM products and developing a strong understanding of client use case
YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in an inside sales role or business development role
- Strong desire to create strategic and consultative relationships with clients
- Experience with CRM databases (Hubspot is a plus), Google Workspace & MS Office Products
- Ability to probe and qualify opportunities and match products with problems identified by prospect.
- Passionate about being a part of a decentralized financial services future with knowledge of cryptoassets, blockchain technology, and related products and services
- Knowledge of financial data and capital markets and cryptocurrency market
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and desire for constant learning
