- Serve as a thought partner and editor on messaging documents, including talking points, op-eds, speeches, press materials, and digital content.
- Represent the Communications team in campaign planning and cross-team alignment conversations to ensure cohesive messaging across platforms and spokespeople.
- Draft and edit both English and Spanish-language communications as needed.
- Monitor media coverage and provide strategic input to inform campaign adjustments and rapid response.
- Provide media training and messaging support for spokespeople and partner organizations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, journalism, media relations, or public affairs with a focus on social justice, advocacy, or organizing.
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) required.
- Strong writer and editor in both Spanish and English, with experience drafting public-facing materials.
