Senior Product manager- SaaS Applications Protection & Cyber Recovery 

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to help lead our SaaS Applications Protection and Recovery portfolio at Bangalore and Hyderabad locations. This role will drive strategy, roadmap, and execution for protection and cyber resilience solutions across enterprise SaaS platforms including Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, DevOps platforms, Slack, Microsoft 365 collaboration ecosystems, and emerging communication and productivity applications. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in SaaS data protection, disaster recovery, cyber recovery, and resilience with strong product management, go-to-market, and customer engagement skills. 

What you’ll do…

• Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for SaaS applications protection, cyber recovery, and resilience offerings across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments
• Own the portfolio strategy for protection and recovery of SaaS applications covering:
• Salesforce (SFDC)
• Microsoft Dynamics 365
• DevOps platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
• Other opportunities may also include collaboration and communication platforms such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and other modern SaaS applications
• Drive innovation in cyber resilience capabilities across SaaS applications including:
• Cyber recovery
• Disaster recovery
• Ransomware resilience
• Compliance and governance across SaaS environments
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams to define scalable, cloud-native SaaS protection services and recovery workflows
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive and modern user experiences for both enterprise and SaaS-delivered solutions
• Identify emerging market trends, customer pain points, and competitive dynamics in SaaS data protection, cyber resilience, AI-driven operations, and cloud recovery
• Build compelling business cases and investment strategies to prioritize roadmap initiatives and accelerate growth opportunities
• Work directly with enterprise customers, strategic partners, analysts, and field organizations to validate product direction and market positioning
• Define product requirements, success metrics, and GTM strategies for new capabilities and releases
• Develop compelling messaging, positioning, demos, collateral, and thought leadership content for internal and external stakeholders
• Partner with sales, alliances, customer success, and marketing teams to enable successful product adoption and revenue growth
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, support, field sales, and executive leadership to align execution with strategic priorities
• Ensure global compliance, security, and regional regulatory considerations are incorporated into the product portfolio
• Represent Commvault as a thought leader in SaaS cyber resilience, recovery, and modern data protection strategies

Who you are…

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of product management experience delivering enterprise software, SaaS, cybersecurity, cloud, backup/recovery, or cyber resilience solutions
• Proven experience managing products related to:
• SaaS applications and Enterprise SaaS ecosystems
• Backup and recovery, Disaster recovery, Cyber recovery, Cloud resilience.
• Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, Dynamics 365, Slack, Microsoft 365, and DevOps ecosystems
• Demonstrated success defining and executing product roadmaps from concept through GA and GTM execution
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, APIs, SaaS application ecosystems, and multi-cloud environments .
• Experience in backup/recovery, cybersecurity, SaaS infrastructure, or enterprise data management industries 
• Familiarity with Hyperscaler ecosystems including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Experience working with enterprise customers in regulated industries .
• Background in AI/ML-driven operations, observability, or security analytics is a plus .
• Prior experience launching SaaS-delivered products and subscription services.
• Experience with cyber resilience concepts including ransomware recovery, immutable storage, air-gapped recovery, clean-room recovery, and security compliance.
• Security and SaaS experience strongly preferred.
