Director of Admissions
Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.
About This Role
The Admissions Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the clinical intake team and ensuring the process for new patient admissions is efficient and expeditious. The Admissions Director will supervise and provide clinical consultation to a team of clinicians and will ensure that resources across Compass locations are utilized to their fullest potential to contribute to the goal of expanding access to care.

This position is remote with some need to attend in person meetings at our facilities. The hours for this role are: 5 days a week Monday-Friday from 9AM-5PM. There is evening and weekend on-call responsibility for this role.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the daily operations of the Intake team across multiple facilities, including but not limited to monitoring productivity, assigning tasks, providing clinical consultation, assisting with high acuity referrals, clinical intake assessments, training and education, achievement of KPIs and strategic goals/initiatives.
- Support the admission process and identify needs for each site. Collaborate with site leaders related to identified gaps in reaching admission targets.
- Ensure proper staffing model across all locations to support demand and coordinate centralized resources to sites that require coverage.
- Facilitate process improvement work through leading projects and engaging in daily improvements through huddles with the Clinical Intake team; ensuring alignment with department and organizational goals.
- Ensure timely and appropriate follow up is completed for potential patients seeking care.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with leaders within the organization to effectively communicate barriers to the admission process across sites. Act as a liaison to cross-divisional teams and provide support in the resolution of outstanding issues.
- Motivate and lead the team to create and maintain a positive environment while setting and adhering to high standards in work ethic and performance.
- Resolve outstanding customer service issues escalated by the assigned team(s) in a timely and accurate manner.
- Analyze and summarize productivity statistics of the assigned team(s) on a routine basis (daily, weekly, monthly). These may include scheduled starts and actual admissions, canceled starts, and number of patients who require additional touchpoints prior to starting.
- Review current policies and procedures with a focus on continuous improvement; support the development and implementation of process improvements within the Clinical Intake team.
- Coordinate training of new hires and complete all aspects of the performance management process for the Clinical Intake team. Provide clinical supervision to the Clinical Intake team.
- Manage the revenue cycle process for the clinical intake assessment including staff licensing, credentialing, billing accuracy and sign off.
- Complete all time keeping in an accurate and timely manner for the Clinical Intake Team.
- Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor.
Who You Are:
- Master’s degree with licensure (ie. LCPC, LCSW), or licensed Psychologist
- Have leadership experience preferably in Admissions/Intake: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Have the ability to self-motivate and remain on task.
- Have the ability to pick up new systems quickly is important as is the ability to “translate” the technology to the end-user in a digestible format.
- Are committed to Company values.
- Have strong customer orientation. Excellent customer service skills (friendly, empathetic, courteous and helpful).
- Strong Excel skills are a must; PowerBI (or other reporting tool) a plus
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and patients.
- Have the ability to motivate and be part of creating a safe, fun, efficient, positive team-orientated environment.

This range includes multiple career path levels across the organization; where you fall in the range is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, your years of experience, type of experience, location, and education/certifications. Compass reserves the right to update these ranges.
This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus which is dependent upon individual and company performance.
Compensation
$90,000 - $120,000 USD
