JOB DESCRIPTION

This position requires the Analyst to use business intelligence sources, internal and external assets, and open-source media to identify threats to a large, international company. Successful candidates will have the ability to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities and a commitment to personal growth. Organizational change, evolving stakeholder relationships, and a variable world situation influence the work that we do, and the candidate must be able to adapt easily to such changes. Analysts are keenly aware of geopolitical risks and assess how these risks might impact global operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute open source and social media intelligence investigations using UI-based (commercial/free) and non-UI-based (Linux distro) tools.
  • Perform initial collection of intelligence points, monitor relevant feeds (social media, news), and triage collected data to identify potential threats or risks.
  • Adhere to established intelligence processes, assist with data entry, and proactively learn new OSINT tools, methodologies, and data sources.
  • Analyze collected data, understand complex links between pieces of information, and help identify patterns or anomalies.
  • Contribute to and draft comprehensive reports that accurately address the scope of requests, highlighting all relevant findings for senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring that the information is easy to understand.
  • Passion to keep up with new and emerging technologies, social media platforms, and a self-driven attitude towards continuously refining processes and learning new methodologies.
  • Assessment of risks and threats, social media monitoring, analysis of the risk profile of company assets or events, situational crisis monitoring, and other support as needed, utilizing publicly available information.
  • Analysis of threatening communications and developments directed towards company buildings, assets, or personnel, and any information of interest gleaned from monitoring press and social media mentions of situations posing threats or risks to events or operations.
  • Assist team members by performing initial collection of intelligence points as requested to support intelligence research and production.
  • Conduct research on international locations where their employees may visit. This information may include crime and safety risks, political stability, and travel safety regarding hotels and event venues, local customs and courtesies, and transportation best practices.
  • Provide data-driven analytic assessments about potential operational and strategic threats or risks to the company.
  • Ability to develop efficient workflows to triage and make sense of large, often obfuscated connections; excellent investigative skills to pursue all potential leads using advanced search techniques and specialized databases.
  • Proactive ability to monitor, understand, and anticipate emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of threat actors.
  • Strong analytical ability to identify hidden links and connections from various sources, coupled with the capacity to verify and corroborate information for accuracy and bias reduction.
  • Ability to produce high-quality, concise reports in a short turnaround time, articulating complex findings clearly for diverse audiences.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
