We are currently looking to hire a SOC Supervisor to join our team embedded with our client in Seattle! This position requires working onsite at our client's Headquarters in Seattle, WA.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced security professional to join as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Supervisor. The SOC Supervisor leads a team of Operators, managing and supporting highly confidential operations by assisting personnel with all concerns related to the safety and security of locations around the globe. The Supervisor oversees access control, alarms, customer service, and incident management operations and ensures that these operations are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures. The SOC Supervisor will utilize analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure, all under the guidance of the SOC Operations Manager in a 24/7 environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft and send Stakeholder notifications
  • Triage and manage incidents that cause business disruptions
  • Escalate issues as required to more senior-level management and/or the client.
  • Develop and mentor Operators through coaching, feedback, and conflict management.
  • Oversee quality control and oversight for all production, support, and staffing functions in conjunction with the SOC Operations Manager.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to identify process and quality improvements.
  • Represent the SOC in incident response meetings with stakeholders
  • Facilitate “tabletop” exercises on shift for continuous Operator training
  • Receive shift pass-down information and conduct shift briefings to provide updates, assignments, training, and contractual compliance
  • Send emergency messages to stakeholders and associates notifying them of security incidents. 
  • Author, review, and publish informational products related to security and safety incidents.
  • Brief internal leaders on notable, ongoing issues
  • Provide back-up support and on-call function as needed
  • Assess service statistics and prepare detailed reports on findings
  • Respond to escalated customer service issues on time
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to propose and implement solutions to customer challenges
  • Drive the execution of action items related to correcting access control misconfigurations or removing individual permissions to closure
  • Manage multiple area access management security workflows crucial to operational success
  • Analyze datasets and space layouts, and leverage software systems to accomplish key tasks
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5 years of equivalent work experience in the Military, Law Enforcement, Government, or Corporate
  • Security
  • Prior experience in a Security Operations Center, TOC, or similar
  • Experience managing or leading a team of five or more employees
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to legally work in the country where this position is located without visa sponsorship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, Political Science, Business Management, Communications, Sociology, or other related degree
  • Six (6) or more years’ experience in a high-intensity, high-volume environment, such as a Security Operations Center, Crisis Management/Response Center, or Customer Call Center
  • Knowledge of security systems for access control and alarm monitoring
  • Strong analytical skills that are process-oriented, with an understanding of the importance of people driving the best customer experience
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with global and remote teams across all levels within the organization
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, and Splunk Search Processing language

Seattle, Washington Pay Range

$38 - $38 USD
