Job Title: Platform Product Manager
Locations: Sofia, Bulgaria
Reports to: Group Product Manager
A quick snapshot…
The Platform Product Manager at Conga is responsible for the direction, planning, execution, and delivery of our core platform capabilities — the foundational services that power the entire Conga product suite. You won't just be building a product; you'll be building the engine other products are built on. Here you bridge the technical and business worlds, working closely with engineering, architecture, and internal product teams to define and evolve the APIs, integrations, and shared services that make Conga's ecosystem thrive. Join the team to help drive the next phase of platform growth.
Why it’s a big deal…
Platform PMs operate at the heart of everything Conga ships. Your decisions ripple across every product team and every customer. You'll be setting standards, defining developer experiences, and making the hard trade-offs that balance internal needs with external extensibility. You have the technical depth to engage with engineers at the architecture level, and the strategic mindset to translate platform capabilities into measurable business value. If you're energized by solving foundational, high-leverage problems — this one's for you.
Are you the person we’re looking for?
Platform & API Product Experience. You have 3+ years of product management experience with a focus on platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products in a B2B SaaS environment. You have a proven track record of owning APIs, integration frameworks, or shared platform services — and you deeply understand what it means to treat internal teams as your customers. Experience with major ecosystem platforms such as Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce is strongly desired.
Technical Fluency. You are comfortable in conversations about system architecture, API design (REST, GraphQL, webhooks), authentication/authorization frameworks, data models, and scalability. You don't need to write the code, but you need to understand the trade-offs behind the decisions. Familiarity with ML-based platform services or data pipeline products is a plus.
Developer & Internal Customer Empathy. Platform PMs serve two kinds of customers: the external customers who ultimately use Conga products, and the internal engineering teams who build on your platform. You know how to gather requirements from both, write clear and actionable platform specs, and define SLAs and versioning policies that keep everyone unblocked.
Roadmap & Prioritization. You will own the platform roadmap — balancing foundational investment, feature requests from internal product teams, technical debt, and strategic extensibility initiatives. You will work with engineering leads to plan release cycles, manage dependencies across multiple product teams, and clearly communicate trade-offs to stakeholders at all levels.
Metrics & Platform Health. You will define and track the right platform KPIs — API adoption, reliability, latency, developer onboarding time, and integration success rates. You will use data to identify friction points in the developer experience and prioritize improvements accordingly.
Education: A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
Here’s what will give you an edge…
Champion the Customer. You understand that customers are one of the business’s most important assets and you take that seriously. With more than 11,000 customers around the globe entrusting Conga with their business we make a commitment to their success and would love to hear how you will too!
Systems Thinker. You naturally zoom out to see how components fit together and zoom in to understand why a specific API contract matters. You anticipate how platform decisions today will constrain or enable the product teams building on top of you tomorrow.
Natural Collaborator. Platform PM is perhaps the most cross-functional role in a product organization. You'll work daily with engineering, security, architecture, and other PMs. You are skilled at building alignment across competing priorities, facilitating technical trade-off discussions, and making sure every team feels heard — even when you can't give them everything they want.
Passion. We know it when we see it. Passion is not about saying how much you love what you do in your most excited voice. Passion is revealed in your truest self. It’s about what you’ve accomplished; how you want to grow; the ideas you have; your philosophies. It’s demonstrating through your words and your actions that you truly believe in what you do -- and where you work. That it matters to you. And that’s pretty cool.
