Sales Development Intern -
General Summary:
The Sales Development Intern provides support for the Sales Development team and is responsible for generating sales qualified opportunities while meeting pre-determined sales objectives. This role works in partnership with the Sales teams to create and qualify leads through consultations in order to identify business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides support to the Sales Development teams, with a high attention to detail
- Daily research and identification of target accounts
- Outbound, proactive emailing, calling, and networking to cultivate business (60+ calls per day)
- Identifies correct contacts in order to learn more about company objectives, pain points, processes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Uses LinkedIn Sales Navigator to connect and network with prospects
- Uses tools such as Zoom info, outreach, Drift and Salesforce to identify, engage, and track prospective clients
- Utilizes industry insights in a consultative way to discuss areas of business improvement with a prospect
- Identifies opportunities and issues within a prospect’s business and creates interest in our solutions based on improving business issues
- Achieves daily, weekly and monthly metrics

- Ability to perform routine situations and procedures with limited supervision
- Strong team player with ability to build positive and collaborative relationships within the ConnectWise organization
- Must have the ability to quickly learn software solutions and be able to identify the appropriate opportunity for the correct solutions and position correctly
- Organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer experience while finding opportunity to position products and services
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
- Requires limited knowledge of operations procedures and tools
- Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in related field
Working Conditions:
- In office (Tampa)
- 0-10% travel may be required
