We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer II to join our Quality Engineering team.
Role Overview
As a Software Test Engineer II, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications through comprehensive test planning, test execution, and automation initiatives. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of applications.
- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives and improve testing efficiency.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on product quality and release readiness.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Strong programming knowledge in Kotlin or Java.
- Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins.
- Exposure to test automation frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with API testing tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
