Garage Door Installer
OVERVIEW
The position of Garage Door Installer for Construction Resources is responsible for the Installation of residential overhead garage doors, light duty commercial roll-up doors and electric operators. Requires ability to demonstrate effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Will effectively manage time and resources to control costs, enhance efficiency and meet commitments, while building strong relationships with Builders and customers. Requires excellent customer service and good communication skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Install residential overhead garage doors, light duty commercial roll-up doors and electric operators
- Follow installation best practices and training guidelines provided
- Follow established company safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Effectively manage time and resources to complete work order forms and other required paperwork in accordance with company standards
- Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and represent the company in a professional manner at all times
- Perform other related projects and duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Mechanically adept individuals who can lift up to 80 pounds
- Experience working with basic hand and power tools *
- Previous construction experience preferred, but not necessary
- Must possess a valid driver's license with good driving record
- Capability of working flexible hours (average 40 to 50 hours per week)
