Summary: We are seeking a Senior Web Applications Programmer to develop, maintain, and support applications for our organization's Internet/Intranet sites. This role involves gathering and analyzing requirements, programming web application components, documenting applications, and developing automation techniques for end-user content publishing. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of advanced web tools and languages and will contribute to complex projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and support applications for Internet/Intranet sites.
• Gather and analyze requirements for web applications.
• Program selected components of web applications and document components and applications.
• Develop automation techniques to enable end-user content publishing.
• Program, test, and implement mapped graphic images, forms, and HTML pages.
• Handle client browser support inquiries and maintain accuracy of links.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new Internet tools and applications.
• Work on complex projects, providing technical expertise and project leadership as needed.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of IT work experience in software development, installation, and modification in an online environment.
• Experience with a variety of advanced web tools and languages.
• Ability to develop solutions requiring analysis and research.
• Experience working on small to large, complex projects.
• Ability to work as a project team member or occasionally as a project leader.
• Capability to coach more junior technical staff.
