The Job
The Security Site Manager will be pivotal in establishing and maintaining an industry-leading corporate and site-level security (Armed) Program at Core Scientific. The Security Site Manager will work with the Security Operations Director to develop and improve the security operations program. The Security Site Manager is responsible for assisting in implementing and administering policies, procedures, and regulations affecting physical security operations at Core Scientific sites. The manager oversees armed security staff and assists with reporting and compliance standards, daily activity reports, and incident reports.
Responsibilities
- Manage the armed security officers and maintain all training standards.
- Receives, reviews, resolves discrepancies, and submits vendor invoicing to Accounts Payable.
- Communicate with vendors and clients as necessary.
- Maintains accurate inventories of security equipment.
- Updates the Security Department’s Confluence and SharePoint pages as necessary.
- Coordinates maintenance schedules for fleet vehicles.
- Conveys policy and procedure to Core and security services personnel.
- Assists with developing training to be delivered to security services personnel.
- Conduct periodic audits to assess compliance with security procedures and company policies.
- Draft procedures and work instructions supporting company security programs.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Submits recommendations for improvements and developments to the security program.
- Ensures the Security Department’s alignment with company protocols.
- Coaches security services supervisors in the implementation of company policy.
- Foster open, respectful, and professional communication directly within the team, with co-workers/ teammates, and leaders across the organization.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security, law enforcement, related discipline, or equivalent and relevant experience is preferred.
- 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in the physical security field is required.
- 2 years of supervisory/management experience is required.
- Have or obtain a License to Carry handgun permit in the state, region, parish, etc. (as applicable), as required by federal law, and the Core Scientific security program.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are required.
- Experience with inventory management is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in the MS Office Suite of Tools, Confluence, and Jira is preferred.
- Ability to work across multiple sites in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Electronic Physical Security knowledge of Genetec/Axis/HID preferred.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PSP, CPP, etc.) preferred.
- Experience in physical Security design preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.

Travel
Occasional travel may be required as needed.
Work Environment
This job operates in a data center, office, and shop environment. This role routinely uses standard maintenance equipment such as ladders, scissor lifts, forklifts, power tools, voltmeters, etc. While performing these duties, the employee will be exposed to hot and cold environments.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Position Type/ Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, onsite position. General hours and workdays are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some nights and weekends may be required.
