Senior Data Scientist

To support our rapid growth, we’re seeking a dynamic Senior Data Scientist  

The CoreTrust Data Solutions team's charter is to foster a data-driven culture to encourage and enable the entire organization to make more informed decisions through data. Our data and analytics team works closely with engineering, marketing, finance, and business leaders to identify opportunities for improving the customer experience and accelerate our business's growth in support of this mission. This is a unique opportunity to bring your knowledge of enterprise software offerings, as well as your understanding of data science methods and best practices, to help CoreTrust deliver the best experience possible for our customers and partners.   

The ideal candidate brings the ability to approach a problem analytically, excellent communication and teamwork skills, is a strong investigator with attention to detail and the ability to identify trends and patterns and enjoys working in an agile environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Work with other teams across CoreTrust to develop key metrics to achieve business outcomes.     
  • Work cross functionally to translate business problems into ones that can be solved and informed by data.     
  • Have curiosity and apply analytical skills to dive deep into data to find key insights that impact the business.     
  • Develop models of usage, user behavior & business behavior to make recommendations and influence the product road map.      
  • Be a champion of AB testing. Design, execute and analyze experiments to prove product change attribution.      
  • Utilize tools like SQL, R, Python to execute analyses.    
  • Design, implement, and maintain analytics and models 
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to understand requirements and generate actionable insights 
  • Work as part of a team to maintain a high-quality data lake house
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Data Modeling, Statistics, and Operational Best Practices
  • Share ideas and best practices as part of the Data Science Team  
  • Create dashboards and reports to clearly and concisely communicate results and insights 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field  
  • Master's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience   
  • 2+ years data-science experience (managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)  
  • 4+ years of experience in data science and analysis 
  • Experience with design and maintenance of advanced data analysis systems 
  • Deep understanding of data modeling, statistics, and data visualization concepts 
  • Comfortable working with data in a variety of formats and languages, including SQL and Python 
  • Experience with Azure or AWS Open AI, Chatbots, Virtual Agents 
  • Ability to use your understanding of statistics and modeling to explain complex outputs to non-technical team members 
  • Experience with tools like PowerBI, Snowflake, or Databricks
