Senior Content Marketing Lead

To support CoreTrust’s continued rapid growth, we’re seeking a Senior Content Marketing Lead to build our content marketing engine from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity for the entrepreneurial-minded-master-creator who loves roles that blend content strategy, full-stack marketing savvy, and broad creative capabilities to elevate brand, connect with audiences, and drive meaningful impact for a fast-growing business. Reporting to the CMO and leading an external team of copywriters and agencies (who you will help select), you’ll operate in an agile marketing environment that fully leverages your creative talents to set the groundwork for a scalable content marketing function.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that supports our marketing objectives and customer needs
  • Build amazing content – that you choose to be the best for our needs – that might span emails, blogs, videos, infographics, case studies, eBooks, USG, testimonials, whitepapers, webinar scripts, etc.
  • Create and manage the editorial calendar to ensure transparency, timely development and review, message alignment, and consistent delivery across channels
  • Orchestrate all writing, editing, and optimization of engaging and SEO/GEO-friendly content for our website, landing pages, blog, social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms
  • Develop and manage a content team of external copywriters, freelancers, and agencies while providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to ensure a drumbeat of high-quality content creation and deliver
  • Identify and engage key influencers, content syndication channels, and opportunities to source, curate, and distribute high-impact content
  • Engage and collaborate with an SEO/GEO consultant to conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content audits to identify content gaps and opportunities
  • Analyze and report on the performance and ROI of our content marketing activities, using metrics such as traffic, engagement, conversion, and retention
  • Monitor and evaluate the latest trends, best practices, and tools in content marketing, and recommend new ideas, innovations, and investments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio of published content samples
  • Outstanding creative capabilities and highly skilled at activating a company’s brand
  • Strong knowledge of SEO principles and tools with a proven track record of thriving in Google’s world
  • Proficient in CMS solutions (e.g. StoryBlok, WordPress, HubSpot) and a variety of content marketing tools (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Figma, Semrush’s Topic Research, GSC); experimental with AI
  • Experience leading and managing an external content team, including identifying, contracting, and managing freelance writers, designers, and agencies
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Creative, analytical, and strategic thinker, with a customer-centric and data-driven mindset

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience in Private Equity-backed companies, B2B, SaaS, or Procurement
  • Experience in Agile marketing methodologies (especially Scrum)
  • Skilled at developing content personalization capabilities
