Professional Development Content Developer
About Correlation One
Correlation One is the largest provider of AI and data workforce development programs globally, having trained over 500,000 professionals across 11 countries. As the largest training provider for Amazon Career Choice, and a growing partner to state governments building registered apprenticeship programs, Correlation One sits at the intersection of employer talent needs and scalable workforce training.
We work with Fortune 500 enterprises, federal and state government agencies, and leading employers to close skills gaps in AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, and operations leadership. Our programs produce job-ready graduates who are prepared to contribute from day one.
This is a part-time contract position. The contract will be as needed (when new programs launch and PD content needs to be localized) We anticipate about 5 hours of work per week during high peak. This is subject to change based on program needs and consultant capacity; these decisions will be made by Correlation One (C1) staff and communicated well in advance
About the Role
The PD Content Developer will play a key role in adapting and localizing Correlation One's professional development (PD) and career readiness content for specific training programs and target regions. This person will be responsible for updating, revising, and localizing existing materials — including career development one-pagers, onboarding decks, worksheets, and related learner-facing resources — across formats such as PowerPoint, PDF, and Word documents. A successful PD Content Developer will have experience in AI, content development and/or career services content, and will work closely with Correlation One's Content Developer to ensure that materials remain aligned with the company's vision, mission, and brand standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, an understanding of regional/cultural nuance in career content (e.g. US vs. UK/AU English, local job market conventions), and experience supporting adult learners with varied (including beginner) knowledge and skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and revise existing PD/career development content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with program and regional requirements
- Use GenAI to Localize materials for specific target markets (e.g. converting US-default language, spelling, and terminology to regional equivalents; adapting culturally specific references such as job boards, salary tools, and employer examples)
- Update and maintain PD content across multiple formats (PPTX, PDF, DOCX), preserving Correlation One branding, program-specific terminology, and formatting standards
- Audit and iterate on the current content library, ensuring materials stay up-to-date and regionally relevant
- Collaborate with other content developers and peer review materials, leaving feedback for improvements
- (if necessary) Weekly and ad hoc meetings: Participate in weekly meetings with the C1 content developer to ensure the team is on track to prepare all content and related materials, answer questions, discuss any relevant decisions, etc.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- 2+ years of experience in career coaching, career services, or professional development coaching (e.g. Career Success Coach, career counselor, workforce development coach) — direct experience helping job seekers with resumes, interview prep, or job search strategy is highly valued
- Prior teaching, training, or facilitation experience with adult learners, especially in career readiness, workforce development, or reskilling/upskilling contexts
- Experience working with diverse or underserved learner populations (e.g. career changers, entry-level job seekers, non-traditional students) a strong plus
- Excellent written English with a strong editorial eye — able to tighten vague or generic language into clear, actionable career guidance
- Comfortable revising and adapting existing content (rather than only creating from scratch), with attention to maintaining consistency, tone, and brand voice across materials
- Proficient in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office (specifically familiar with use of Google Slides, commenting and tagging features)
- Strong knowledge of resume/CV norms by market, interview coaching frameworks, career pathway design
- Ability to perform market and cultural research and incorporate regionally relevant references into varied content
- The ability to actively listen to feedback from learners, program staff, and subject matter experts for continuous improvement
- Implement processes to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of localized materials
- Comfortable and excited to work in a dynamic start-up environment with a lean team
- Passionate about improving processes, self-improvement, and research
- Comfortable working remotely, independently, and self-motivated to succeed
Where you are located:
