Senior Executive Assistant

New York, NY

About the company

At Covera, we're committed to ensuring high-quality healthcare is more than just a promise. That's why we're leading the way in the emerging science of quality, and connecting providers and payers in their shared quest to improve patient outcomes and care quality. By tackling this challenge, we have the ability to impact millions of lives by raising the standard of care nationwide.

Our initial focus is radiology, where an early and accurate diagnosis has a profound impact on the rest of a patient's care journey. Through our work, which uses clinically-validated science-based tools, we're helping doctors enhance their care, ensuring patients get the right diagnosis, and enabling the healthcare system to support quality improvement at scale.

Through our clinical intelligence platform, we have launched programs that help people access the most effective care and provide doctors with AI-powered quality insights and tools to enhance their care. Today, Covera is partnered with leading employers, payers and healthcare organizations across the US, including Walmart and Microsoft. And, with a pipeline representing over 25% of insured Americans, we are in the early stages of improving care quality for all patients across the globe.

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and adaptable Executive Assistant to serve as the sole dedicated support for our Executive Leadership Team. As the company’s only EA, this individual will act as a trusted partner to senior leaders - anticipating needs, driving priorities forward, and ensuring seamless day-to-day execution. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no task is too small, ownership is essential, and polish and precision are expected.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Manage complex calendars, including scheduling meetings and appointments for the ELT members, optimizing their time and priorities
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and transportation, ensuring seamless logistics when traveling
  • Meeting support as needed, e.g.  prepare and distribute meeting agendas and materials, and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion
  • Serve as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders who need to meet with the ELT, demonstrating professionalism and diplomacy in all interactions
  • Conduct research for meeting preparation such as preparing bios of meeting participants
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Anticipate the needs of the ELT and proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
  • Coordinate logistics for ELT offsite meetings and special events, including venues, catering, materials, and setup
  • Organize company events, meetings, team-building activities, and other social functions to enhance team morale and collaboration
  • Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks, office management tasks and special projects as assigned by the ELT, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Play an active role in further building the Covera team by joining interview panels and contributing to cross-company projects after onboarding

Special Considerations:

While we are a remote-first company with employees located across the U.S., we do have a NYC office located at Penn 1. Many of our local employees come into the office throughout the week to collaborate, connect, and enjoy a catered lunch on Wednesdays. While most of our Executive Leadership Team is remote, they travel to the office on a regular cadence of at least twice a month. Because of this, it is a non-negotiable requirement that this role be based locally, with a consistent presence in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This individual will also play a key role in facilitating onsite interviews and serving as a reliable point of connection for in-office activities on other days as needed.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of executive support experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments (e.g., startup, private equity, venture capital, or healthcare technology)
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities without letting anything slip through the cracks
  • Proactive problem-solver with a "get it done" mentality who learns quickly
  • Highly professional presence with strong judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, adapting quickly to changing priorities, and making sound decisions under pressure
  • Low ego with willingness to assist with tasks outside of traditional job responsibilities. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Discretion and integrity in handling confidential information and sensitive situations
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities without letting anything slip through the cracks

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical plans - choose from three plans, including one with 100% of premiums covered for you and your dependents
  • Vision & Dental
  • Flexible Time Off - take the time you need, when you need it

  • 401(k) Retirement Plan

The minimum and maximum base salary for this position ranges from $125,000 - $150,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, expertise and location. Final compensation decisions may occasionally fall outside of the posted range. Salary ranges are periodically reviewed and may be adjusted in response to market trends and company needs.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
