We’re seeking a Benefits Specialist to help deliver an exceptional employee experience by managing benefits administration, leave programs, onboarding, and HR data with precision and care.
What You’ll Do:
As a Benefits Specialist at CPI Security, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our growing team. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure employee benefits and leave processes are seamless, compliant, and supportive of our positive workplace culture.
- Administer day-to-day employee benefits including enrollments, claims support, billing reconciliation, audits, and compliance.
- Manage leave of absence requests—ensure timely documentation, employee communication, and legal compliance.
- Plan and coordinate benefits events like Open Enrollment, Wellness Fairs, and Biometric Screenings.
- Organize and execute employee engagement activities in partnership with leadership.
- Support onboarding processes—manage workflows, systems, and documentation to provide a best-in-class experience for new hires.
- Maintain and analyze HR data for reports, dashboards, and process improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison with third-party vendors to manage benefits platforms and educate employees.
- Ensure HRIS data integrity (UKG experience a plus), troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners on employee benefits policies, data reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Contribute to process improvements and policy development to enhance employee support systems.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in benefits administration, HRIS systems, onboarding, and leave management.
- Experience using HRIS platforms like UKG and tools such as Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of benefits-related compliance laws and best practices.
- Experience working with third-party benefits vendors and managing external relationships.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of empathy and customer service focus.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate data tracking and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Passion for optimizing processes and enhancing the employee lifecycle experience.
