Group Strategy Director

As a Group Strategy Director, you will lead and inspire your team to deliver purpose-driven, insight-driven strategies that drive exceptional client outcomes. You will oversee the quality and effectiveness of all strategic work across projects and accounts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry trends. Your ability to plan and execute complex projects will provide an in-depth understanding of client needs, their competitive landscape, and key industry dynamics. You will be a trusted partner to multidisciplinary teams, from Creative to Technology, and will be expected to communicate your insights and strategies clearly across all levels.


You will:

  • Lead and mentor multiple strategy teams to integrate performance marketing into broader business objectives, ensuring long-term ROI
  • Drive the development and growth of performance marketing programs, technologies, and opportunities
  • Oversee the creation of inter-departmental performance marketing strategies
  • Develop scalable frameworks for performance marketing strategies across campaigns, projects, and accounts
  • Establish and promote performance marketing best practices, guidelines, and workflows.
  • Contribute to the evolution of performance marketing standards across the agency
  • Collaborate effectively with senior teams to align multiple projects and initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and third-party teams to optimize campaign execution
  • Be a key presence on the ground with clients, driving strategy and innovation while managing expectations and delivering impactful results

 

You have:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a proven track record of driving measurable results across multiple channels (PPC, SEO, display, social media, etc.) 
  • Expertise in Digital Strategy with well-rounded knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research, analytics and content strategy, as well as a strong understanding of Media 
  • Strong ability to translate complex strategies and insights into clear, persuasive communication for clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with a focus on understanding client needs and delivering exceptional marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions to optimize marketing performance
  • Proven leadership experience in mentoring and developing high-performing strategy teams within a collaborative, results-oriented environment
  • Ability to collaborate with creative teams and subject matter experts to transform insights into compelling, high-impact campaigns
  • Experience across ad tech/mar tech platforms (such as Flashtalk, Celtra, Innovid, Omni) with a solid understanding of how these platforms work
  • Comfortable engaging with client data platforms, with a high-level understanding of platform integrations and data-driven marketing strategies
  • CPG experience is a plus
