
Buildings & Grounds Manager
Crossroads Health provides a continuum of quality life-changing behavioral health and specialized chemical dependency treatment services to children, adolescents, young adults, adults and families. The Buildings and Grounds Manager oversees improvements, projects, and maintenance of all buildings and grounds. The Buildings and Grounds Manager may supervise a Buildings and Grounds Coordinator. Additionally, the Buildings and Grounds Manager acts as the Safety Officer for the agency.
More specifically, the Buildings & Grounds Manager role will be responsible for:
- Effectively manage maintenance/repair requests, perform and maintain the monthly maintenance checklist. Complete seasonal projects of cleaning buildings/grounds, interior/exterior. Oversee and coordinate the contracted services.
- Lead and manage the Building and Grounds Coordinator.
- Ensure accreditation documentation is updated and accessible for review, work with agency functions to ensure compliance.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of compliance tracking reports.
- Being on-call for any emergencies related to the building/grounds such as, but not limited to, heating and air conditioning malfunctions or any evacuation.
Position Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Technical school (preferred).
- Three (3)-Five (5) years’ experience in a maintenance environment.
- Certified training or Licensure in one or more of the following trades preferred. HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing.
- Solid knowledge and experience in any of the following: HVAC; electrical, mechanical, plumbing, cleaning, painting, landscaping.
- Develop and submit annual budget for agreed upon plans.
- Must have an acceptable driving record (4 pts. or less), reliable transportation, and carry automobile insurance with minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000.
- Must submit and pass a 10 panel drug screen which includes detection of THC.
Physical Environment:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically.
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs and ladders as necessary.
- Manual dexterity to type on computer keyboard and operate general office equipment, such as phone, fax, and copier.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and the ability to pick up other computer programs quickly.
- Ability to drive between different buildings and have a valid Ohio driver’s license.
