
Business Process Re-Engineering Specialist
Job Description
CSCI is seeking a highly skilled Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) Specialist to support enterprise-wide efforts to analyze, redesign, and implement improved business processes in support of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.x implementation and transformation to a cloud-based environment. This role supports process optimization through the use of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) and low-code/no-code tools and ensures alignment with organizational goals and Oracle ERP capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end BPR efforts, including As-Is and To-Be process analysis, gap assessments, and documentation
- Develop process models, flow diagrams, and architectural documents using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) standards and modern modeling platforms
- Apply process improvement methodologies to identify optimization opportunities within the Oracle EBS environment
- Guide organizational change by developing and implementing change management strategies and training programs
- Integrate new processes into existing business workflows and ensure successful stakeholder communication and adoption
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align process redesign with business and technical requirements
- Leverage data modeling and activity analysis to design efficient, future-state processes
- Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives related to business processes
- Mentor and provide oversight to junior staff and team members involved in BPR efforts
- Support the migration and transformation of business processes as part of the Oracle EBS Cloud transition initiative
Minimum Requirements
- Active DoD security clearance (Secret or higher)
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of process improvement, change management, and business modeling principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
- Demonstrated experience leading process transformation efforts in a complex business or government environment
- Strong persuasion and presentation skills
- Creativity and adaptability in problem-solving
- Ability to work with clients to understand their needs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Professional presence
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with DoD systems, particularly Oracle-based environments such as DAI
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience facilitating business and system modernization within a Federal or DoD context
- Commitment to learning and applying new technologies, methodologies, and best practices
- Strong customer and vendor relationship skills
- Demonstrated ability to comply with data standards and policies
- Past experience working with a federal agency
- Department of Defense experience is a plus!
