What you’ll do
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design, construction, and maintenance of our kitchen spaces. This role will focus on engineering building systems, construction documentation, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and will play a critical role in ensuring the functionality and efficiency of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with engineering building systems, including MEP, structural, and civil components.
- Create detailed construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform system sizing calculations for various projects.
- Support product and vendor selection, including requesting and reviewing vendor equipment submittals.
- Collaborate on the Basis of Design development, working cross-functionally with all project disciplines.
- Conduct site analysis to assess environmental factors and building constraints.
- Review and comment on EOR (Engineer of Record) Construction Drawings.
What we’re looking for
- Professional Engineer preferred. (PE Licensed)
- Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Structural).
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience, with 3-5 years in a specialized domain.
- Experience working with MEP in commercial construction.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and construction documentation tools.
- Ability to analyze and optimize building systems for efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Experience with vendor coordination and construction administration.
