SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently handling the day-to-day operations in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and safety.

This is a contract-based position with an anticipated duration through March 31, 2025.

SHIFT TIME

  • AM Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • PM Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

SALARY

  • $21.50/per hour

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receiving and Inspecting Goods: Unload, check, and verify incoming shipments for quality and quantity against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Inventory Management: Stock racks, bins, pallets with products and materials. Maintain an organized inventory system to track stock levels and locations.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correct and safely packed to prevent damage.
  • Shipping: Prepare shipping documentation, label packages, and coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Follow warehouse safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques, safe use of equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and product locations using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and departments to meet operational goals and deadlines.

RELATED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, or overtime, as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting of packages weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may include noise, varying temperatures (up to -4 Celsius), and physical demands.
