Your Future Job
The Production Scheduler will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing the internal daily plant schedules while maximizing resource utilization. The role will help support achievement of production efficiency targets while fostering best practices for scheduling. The Production Scheduler will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Production, Quality Assurance, Research & Development, and Supply Chain.
What You Will Do
- Develop detailed daily production schedules aligned with the weekly master production schedule volumes to ensure accurate and timely production execution.
- Update and communicate production schedule changes to impacted internal stakeholders.
- Monitor weekly schedule attainments and communicate production performance to relevant cross-functional teams.
- Generate and dispatch daily manufacturing orders in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system in a timely manner for Production teams.
- Identify and report issues to the Supply Planning Supervisor that may impact weekly commitments if not resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Production team to resolve issues, such as material shortages and manpower constraints, ensuring minimal disruption to planned production.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in production planning and establish key performance indicators for scheduling.
- Review and maintain production schedule tools and standard operating procedures to improve production efficiencies.
Your Background
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Relevant degree or diploma in scheduling, logistics, operations or related discipline is an asset.
- Experience in co-manufacturing is an asset.
- Experience using Microsoft applications (i.e. Outlook, Excel, etc.) and ERP systems (i.e. Syspro).

Compensation, Benefits & Perks
Daiya’s compensation offerings are based on a pay-for-performance philosophy. The pay range for this position is from $60,000 – 70,000 annually/hourly; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Permanent team members may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
