About the job:
Dandelion Energy is seeking a dynamic Analyst to join our team. As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will be the point person who supports our day-to-day business operations by managing our tools, processes, and reporting. This role is key to managing and facilitating our main CRM tool (Salesforce) to support our internal team, and our processes and reporting span from sales commissions to funnel analysis/ forecasting. You should expect to work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the Sales, Operations, & Finance teams to develop, execute, and analyze the results of strategic initiatives that enhance our productivity and drive company growth. This is a high visibility, unique role calling for both technical and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in sales operations, consulting, or other analytical roles, with a strong focus on the ability to work across processes, business systems, and data. A successful candidate must be detail-oriented to manage the critical tools and processes supporting the organization and overall business operations. The candidate must also apply an analytical approach when reviewing data yet be able to communicate insights that result in action. Finally, the candidate must have previously managed or been a power user of Salesforce.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Dandelion’s technology stack, which includes administering Salesforce and other communication and data analysis tools
- Build and enhance relationships with key internal/external partners to understand where we can improve our technology and outline a roadmap for optimizations
- Perform ongoing and ad hoc analysis across all functions of the business to inform insights and drive value
- Define and document our ongoing business processes that enable efficiency with a keen eye toward continuous improvement
- Work with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Operations to roll out key initiatives, build reports that reflect results, and implement strategic shifts as needed
The must-haves for this role are:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related fields
- 2+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Systems, Consulting, or equivalent role
- High proficiency with Salesforce and understanding of CRM software
- Has worked in or alongside a sales organization in a prior role and understands fundamental concepts such as sales funnel, sales processes, and tooling
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, obtain insights, and implement business improvements; experience with data warehousing/SQL (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt) and/or data visualization (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is a huge plus
- Experience working with ERP systems data integrations (NetSuite preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and/or start-up environment
- Eager to learn and evaluate new technologies and tools that result in business impact
