📌 About the job:
Dandelion Energy is looking for a Demand Generation Manager to lead our customer acquisition and growth marketing efforts as we scale our mission to decarbonize home heating. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is excited to build from the ground up. From paid campaigns to email nurture flows, social media to field events—you’ll own and execute programs that drive and accelerate pipeline growth.
You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across Sales, Product, and Operations to bring our story to life and get geothermal in front of the people who need it most. If you’re a strategic doer who loves testing, iterating, and moving quickly, we’d love to meet you. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Arlington, VA, reporting to the VP of Marketing.
🛠️ Responsibilities:
- Own and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns to drive qualified leads, customer acquisition, and brand visibility
- Develop integrated marketing strategies in partnership with Sales, Product, and Policy to support go-to-market initiatives
- Manage and optimize marketing automation tools (e.g., Pardot), including nurture flows and customer journey touchpoints
- Lead Dandelion’s organic social media strategy, producing engaging, on-brand content that grows reach and engagement
- Write and manage content across landing pages, paid ads, email, and social channels
- Track and report on campaign performance, KPIs, and channel attribution to inform ongoing optimization
- Plan and execute field and industry events from end to end, including logistics, vendor coordination, and post-event lead capture

âś… The must-haves for this role are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in in-house or corporate marketing roles
- 2+ years owning demand generation campaigns
- 2+ years planning and executing marketing events (logistics, vendors, onsite execution)
- Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally across teams
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, scrappy, and evolving environment
- Willingness to work 4 days/week in-office at our Arlington HQ
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time

- Experience at a startup or small company (2+ years, <200 employees)
- Hands-on use of Pardot or similar marketing automation platforms (1+ years)
- Knows your way around Wordpress and has light coding skills
- Has an eye for design and can make basic graphics
