The Role

As Product Manager at Daylight, you'll be instrumental in shaping our platform that connects users with cleaner, cheaper and more reliable energy. Our network has several key stakeholders, and you will lead product development for each, including homeowners, installers, and DeFi investors.

We're an early-stage startup that's looking for a leader who can take our product vision from concept to market across both mobile and web, consumer and enterprise. You'll partner directly with our CEO on strategic direction while owning day-to-day product execution, freeing leadership to focus on growth and fundraising. You'll be the connecting force between our engineering, design, and business teams, translating complex technical and crypto concepts into engaging user experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who has shipped successful consumer products, understands crypto-native experiences, and is passionate about scaling distributed clean energy. You'll need to navigate the complexity of building user-friendly onramps to DeFi mechanics while creating compelling features that drive daily engagement with energy management. Your work will directly impact the pace at which communities can transition to a more sustainable energy future.

This role is in-person in our New York City office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with Daylight’s mission of incentivizing distributed energy adoption.
  • Enable the CEO to step back from day-to-day product management by partnering on vision ideation while owning product delivery outcomes.
  • Translate Daylight’s token-driven vision into user-friendly, actionable product roadmaps.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
  • Push progress and drive alignment between engineering, design, and user needs to ensure rapid execution.
  • Create intuitive, consumer-facing mobile and web applications with a deep focus on UX and user engagement.
  • Establish efficient product development frameworks and processes to support scaling.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
