ABOUT THE ROLE 

At Daymark Health, we are transforming how data drives decision-making in healthcare. We are seeking a Data and Analytics Lead to be the first in this role and play a critical part in shaping the foundation of our data operations. You will stand up our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for all data practices, setting up infrastructure, processes, and analytics capabilities that will enable us to collaborate effectively with providers and partners, unlock insights from diverse data sources, and make informed, impactful decisions.

As the first Data and Analytics Lead at Daymark Health, you will:

  • Build and operationalize foundational data workflows, including ingestion, transformation, and sharing of data with partners and providers.
  • Design and implement the infrastructure required to support Daymark’s data practices, selecting and deploying tools and platforms such as Snowflake and AWS.
  • Analyze claims data, real-time activity data, and provider EMR (Electronic Medical Records) data to generate actionable insights for our partners and stakeholders.
  • Establish scalable and reliable data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems.
  • Collaborate across teams to identify and address immediate and long-term data needs while contributing to Daymark's mission of improving healthcare outcomes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

After Three Months, You Will:

  • Understand Daymark’s collaborative environment, tech stack, and data ecosystem.
  • Have delivered an MVP of Daymark's foundational data infrastructure, including ingestion and sharing pipelines.
  • Be actively analyzing partner claims data and EMR data to produce insights that inform business strategies and partner collaborations.
  • Lay the groundwork for data-driven decision-making by selecting the right tools and frameworks for Daymark's data operations.

After Six Months, You Will:

  • Fully operationalize Daymark's data workflows, ensuring seamless integration with partners and internal teams.
  • Develop and maintain real-time analytics capabilities to monitor key metrics and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and other teams to integrate analytics into production systems.
  • Provide ongoing insights from partner and provider data that directly impact patient outcomes and business success.
  • Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the quality and effectiveness of Daymark’s data solutions.

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience: You have 5+ years of experience in data, analytics, reporting, or science, with a strong technical foundation. You have a proven ability to build data pipelines and infrastructure in cloud-based environments. You have experience working with Snowflake, AWS, dbt, and other modern data tools.
  • Leadership: You've been a tech lead and have managed technical projects, particularly with cross-functional teams and complex business objectives. You are proficient in data engineering and data science, with hands-on experience using Snowflake, AWS, and related technologies. You can select and implement the right tools to build scalable infrastructure from scratch.
  • Healthcare data: Familiarity with claims data, EMR systems, and healthcare analytics is highly preferred. You understand the complexities of healthcare data and its potential to drive meaningful change.
  • Problem-solving mindset: You are driven to solve complex data challenges and comfortable working in ambiguity. You thrive in fast-paced, startup environments and can adapt quickly.
  • Collaboration: You excel at working cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and partner teams to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Curiosity and innovation: You are excited to learn, experiment, and push the boundaries of what’s possible with data.
  • Mission-driven: You are passionate about improving healthcare outcomes and motivated by Daymark’s mission to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and providers.

 

 

Compensation will vary based on the candidate's experience and ability:
$175,000-$200.000
