Senior Full Stack Engineer, Pricing&Packaging

Help shape the future of dbt Cloud’s monetization platform.

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Applications group, focused on building intuitive, reliable experiences in Pricing & Packaging for our flagship product — dbt Cloud.

This is a fullstack role with a front-end focus — ideal for someone who enjoys working across the stack but especially cares about building responsive, thoughtful user interfaces (we use React/JS). You may also occasionally contribute to Python backend systems that support billing, packaging, user and account management.

You’ll work closely with the Product and Design team, ship features that connect product value to revenue, and help scale our billing platform. We value fast iteration, customer feedback, and building with empathy.

As a senior engineer, you’ll mentor others, shape technical direction, and help foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

In this role, you can expect to

• Design, build, and maintain billing experiences that are accurate, dependable, and user-friendly
• Own key components of user and plan management within the Pricing & Packaging domain
• Contribute to the architecture of scalable systems, making thoughtful tradeoffs along the way
• Build and maintain front-end applications using React/JS, and backend services in Python
• Act as a technical leader within your team and across the engineering org
• Advocate for best practices in code quality, testing, and maintainability as the product scales

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a full stack engineer.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.) or completion of an engineering-focused bootcamp.

• Love building for user value creation, and are curious about how that translates into value capture for the business

You'll have an edge if you

• Experience interfacing with third party systems and vendors, enhancing service integration and product value.
• Have prior Pricing and Packaging experience.
• Want to revolutionize the modern data stack and make a difference in the data ecosystem.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: 92-108000 EUR/year
