About the Role
DebtBook is seeking an ambitious Sales Development Representative who thrives in a fast paced, metrics-driven, start-up sales environment.
This person will play a key role in achieving our customer acquisition goals as a part of our growing sales team. You will work as a part of the team to boost the effectiveness of our communication, engage directly with potential clients via phone and email, and schedule introductory meetings and product demonstrations for our Account Executives.
What You’ll Do
Meet / exceed weekly and monthly performance targets
Conduct outbound phone, email, and social media activities to thoughtfully engage potential prospects
Educate potential clients on the value DebtBook can bring to their organization
Utilize Hubspot CRM to organize leads and identify opportunities.
Regularly engage with account execs and sales & marketing leadership to discuss market feedback and learnings in order to refine your elevator pitch and target account lists
Set initial meetings and reschedule any meetings that “no show” for the scheduled time
Join internal calls and meetings to discuss strategy, lead feedback, and review call recordings for growth and improvement
Educate yourself on how governments and not-for-profit organizations manage debt today

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As Customer Success Manager with an accounting focus you will be:
Managing a portfolio of mid-market governmental customers, with a specific focus on supporting their accounting teams and financial leaders.
Ensuring a seamless implementation experience by expertly guiding the transfer of customer financial data, provisioning accounts, and overseeing the setup processes for new and existing clients.
Maintaining consistent engagement throughout the customer lifecycle through proactive phone and email communication.
Educating customers on new features and their alignment with new accounting standards and financial workflows, fostering strong adoption that directly enhances their efficiency when preparing for audit
Meeting with customers prior to their renewal to thoroughly understand and address their ongoing accounting needs, concerns, and strategic objectives.
Partnering closely with the account management team to optimize retention and identify opportunities where DebtBook can further enhance their financial management capabilities.
Acting as the internal voice of the customer, sharing feedback with the product team to help shape future product enhancements.
Proactively identifying signs of potential churn or dissatisfaction and collaborating on strategies to mitigate risks.
Ensuring all customer concerns are addressed promptly and effectively to maintain high satisfaction.
Assisting in the development and maintenance of resource guides, ensuring they clearly explain features from a user perspective to drive understanding and adoption.
Take ownership of the implementation process, drive efficiencies, and continuously improve the overall customer onboarding experience, always keeping accounting best practices in mind.
WHAT YOU BRING
3+ years of experience in a role utilizing accounting or finance education
Accounting or finance background required
Professional Customer Service experience
Strong communication skills to reach out to customers on the phone and via email to build trust, and ensure value delivery.
Self motivated, with strong project management and organizational skills
Proficient in all Microsoft Excel, including formulas and functions
Strong desire to work with customers to demonstrate the value of the DebtBook application.
Willingness and ability to become a product expert on all areas of the application.

About this Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Customer Success Analyst to join our growing team. The Customer Success team is looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience, and is eager to help customers maximize the value of our products. You will play a critical part in the implementation and ongoing management of our products with new and existing customers.
What You’ll Do
Work with our Data and Customer Success teams to review source documents and correct information uploaded during the implementation process.
Provide operational and quality support for ongoing customer data updates (Premium Support), working closely with both the data team and CSMs and communicating updates to customers as necessary.
Ensure a seamless onboarding experience by facilitating the transfer of customer data, provisioning accounts, and overseeing setup processes.
Track key project metrics, including status, risks, timelines, and customer expectations, to ensure smooth execution and proactive issue resolution.
Assist Customer Success Managers with customer account configuration to align with customer organizations’ accounting standards and practices.
Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure that implementations run smoothly and milestones are met.
Track and assist in reporting on implementation status for the team.
