The role

Develop the new feature for gemini.google.com by integrating its innovative AI capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Driving cutting-edge model enhancements to gemini.google.com users, with constrained timeline.
  • Resolve technical challenges and deliver high-quality products, while adhering to legal, privacy, latency, and TPU cost constraints.

About you

In order to set you up for success as a Software Engineer at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience on Android / iOS
  • Proven track record in developing and successfully launching user-facing features.
  • Demonstrated full-stack capabilities, encompassing both frontend and backend development.
  • Strong aptitude for system design.
  • Experienced full-stack engineers skilled in user-facing product development, encompassing client (Android / iOS) and backend services.
  • Demonstrates robust system design skills and a solid grasp of Google's infrastructure elements.
  • Sound judgment in foreseeing risks related to privacy, legal matters, marketing, public relations, and safety is essential.

In addition, the following would be an advantage:

  • Performance and latency optimization

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $166,000 - $244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
