The Role
Your primary responsibility will be to review, rethink (where it makes sense), deliver Reward processes and programs, and provide strategic reward advice to our leaders, all grounded in rigorous, data-driven analysis and insights.
You will be managed by the EMEA Reward & Recognition Lead and collaborate closely with the rest of the team in London and the US, alongside the Talent Acquisition team and People & Culture Partners on a daily basis. The unique opportunity in this role lies in innovating and continuously evaluating the efficiency of compensation programs in a fast-paced environment with unique talent challenges.
Key responsibilities:
- Input and enhance data dashboards & reporting to track key compensation metrics, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making
- Develop and implement Reward (Compensation) and recognition frameworks for the full organizational structure at Google DeepMind.
- Communicate effectively with senior partners and internal data & analytics teams to provide insights, enabling data-led business decisions.
- Lead deep analytical reviews of internal and external market data to enhance our compelling, data-backed compensation strategy that ensures competitive total rewards across the entire business, with particular focus on dynamic and high-demand segments such as the AI talent market
- Continuously evaluate the efficiency of compensation programs & processes, innovating and recommending changes to improve the effectiveness of our investment in total rewards.
- Provide sound compensation advice based on unique business challenges and educate key stakeholders in our Reward (Compensation) philosophy
About You
In order to set you up for success as a Reward & Recognition Partner at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:
Requirements:
- Experience managing complex Reward programs and creating and improving processes.
- Ability to assimilate ambiguous information from a wide variety of sources to provide meaningful and timely insights to inform decisions, and you are comfortable communicating these findings.
- Expertise in leveraging data analysis and reporting tools to extract and present complex, data-driven insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proven experience of handling sensitive data with confidentiality and care.
- Proficient using Google Sheets and experience using AI for process improvement, with strong analytical skills.
- Experience partnering with other teams and good communication skills, with a natural ability to build relationships across an organization, instilling trust and creating understanding.
- Highly organized with experience of managing your own workload across an array of activity and projects.
In addition, the following would be an advantage:
- Having worked in a tech company or company with similar talent challenges (such as unique skills, competition for talent).
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment with frequent change.
- Experience using SQL and/or other databases to pull data.
