The Role

We are seeking an exceptionally capable Executive Business Partner to support our VP, GenAI Research. Paramount to this role will be ensuring their time is optimised and they can lead effectively within the GDM. You'll work closely with partners to ensure seamless coordination and execution of their strategic focus areas. In this capacity you will need to build relationships across multiple teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and incorporating the views of internal experts as needed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage a complex and constantly evolving schedule of meetings and events, seamlessly coordinating across numerous time zones and a variety of stakeholders.
  • Gather and synthesise information, proactively connect the dots, and serve as the Leaders’ eyes and ears on the ground to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Manage & support your Leaders’ priorities; anticipating challenges before they arise and using your initiative to problem solve.
  • Build and maintain a trusted 1:1 working relationship with your Leader, alongside building effective relationships with their team.
  • Support key meetings; circulating agendas, capturing notes and ensuring actions are complete.
  • Prepare and design presentations for internal meetings and talks and review and refine internal comms on behalf of your Lead.
  • Support operational tasks and processes; suggesting ideas for continuous improvement and performing meeting analysis to ensure your Leader's time is being used effectively.
  • Organise team-wide offsites, events and socials (virtual or in person).
  • Arrange frequent and complex travel for meetings, conferences, and international visits, which will involve frequent travel with the Leader throughout the year.
  • Undertake financial and legal administration (e.g. expenses, purchase orders, signature requests, contracts and SOWs).
  • Partner on key strategic projects with the GenAI senior leadership team and wider stakeholders, adding value and maximising impact

About You

  • You are highly organised with a proven track record in juggling multiple tasks, prioritising effectively and with impeccable attention to detail. You adapt quickly to change and thrive under pressure.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and you anticipate problems with care. By being proactive, exercising good judgement and discretion, you are able to determine appropriate next steps and problem solve.
  • You are a great teammate, a solid communicator and active listener and most of all passionate about supporting and enabling your Leader.
  • You have excellent diary management experience and know how to make the most of every day, staying flexible and unflappable when priorities shift and change. 
  • You have extensive experience in using the Google Suite and other productivity enhancing methods.
  • You instinctively act with total discretion and diplomacy and remain calm even in stressful situations.
  • You are naturally curious; you ask questions to build knowledge and in order to think multiple steps ahead - no job is too big or small for you to get stuck in.
  • You expertly manage stakeholder relationships by adapting your communication style and content to align with varying audience priorities and contexts.
  • You drive cross functional collaboration and understand different contexts, audience and stakeholder needs
  • You have previous experience working with senior leaders in global organisations

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $114,000 - $167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
