The Role
This role provides support for initiatives across the global TA function supporting Research hiring. You’ll focus on our goal of attracting and securing world class talent for the business in partnership with Recruitment and a range of stakeholders across the business. You’ll support our talent outreach work of building networks, engaging talent, and mapping insights in our most critical areas of GDM research.
Key responsibilities
- Identification and engagement of global Research talent through utilization of AI tools and in collaboration with our own leading researchers.
- Support with program planning of initiatives designed to engage new talent
- Identify talent maps and key competitor insights, specifically focused on GDMs top competing AI labs.
- Proactive candidate outreach to meet our recruitment objectives.
- Partner with the TA Leader to provide relevant talent insights and market intel. Gather this through individual research and in partnership with Google teams.
- Coordinating interview processes for potential candidates and conducting screening calls to assess for eligibility and alignment.
- Develop connections with schools, colleges and universities, helping drive our talent strategy at grass roots level.
About You
In order to set you up for success, we look for the following skills and experience:
- Someone who enjoys learning about and developing insights on a range of topics from macroeconomic trends to identifying key talent for critical roles across GDM.
- Able to translate data into actionable insights by creatively finding + synthesizing information from multiple sources into concise, understandable material.
- A subject matter expert on research talent who brings a systematic approach to hiring challenges, evaluating root causes and implications across GDM research.
- Able to partner effectively with recruiters, hiring managers and program sponsors, and across multiple different teams, locations and divisions.
- You care deeply about crafting a positive experience for all candidates you engage with.
- You are highly organised with the agility to work optimally in changeable and ambiguous environments.
- You are interested in AI and technology, wanting to contribute to Google DeepMind’s mission in a thoughtful and responsible way, while leveraging AI tools effectively and responsibly to engage talent.
- Experience working in the technology industry or with technical teams.

The US base salary range for this position is between 111,000 USD - 159,000 USD + bonus + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
