About the Role:

Are you a product manager with AI / ML experience in the B2B MarTech or SalesTech category? If so, you complete me. I am seeking a visionary and pragmatic Product Management leader to spearhead our AI, data science, and Gen AI product innovation efforts here at Demandbase.

You will lead and execute Demandbase’s overall AI product strategy. You will drive Predictive AI/ML and Gen AI innovation across all Demandbase solutions, delivering purpose-built AI  features tailored to the various sales and marketing personas served by our GTM platform. 

This role reports to me (VP Product, Account Intelligence Platform.) While I would prefer to whiteboard with you in our San Francisco office a few days a week, I’m accepting applications from any qualified US-based candidates (Demandbase is a hybrid remote / in-person company.)

The compensation range for this role is: $143,500-$211,700

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead Product Development - You will drive the development of AI, data science, and Gen AI across our products. You will lead our core data science team and AI tenant application team responsible for predictive AI models in our GTM platform. You will also guide all cross-functional teams in developing Gen AI features tailored to specific sales and marketing use cases. This includes ideation, prototyping, and product launch.
  • Drive Product Strategy - You will be responsible for our AI vision, strategy, and product roadmap. This involves understanding market trends, customer needs, competitive offerings, and translating these insights into a product roadmap. You will ensure that our AI capabilities remain competitive, differentiated, and aligned with customer outcomes. 
  • Evangelize AI Innovation - You will be an evangelist for AI, Data Science, and Gen AI both inside and outside of the company. You will help define a compelling AI innovation narrative and represent Demandbase in analyst briefings and key customer meetings.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders - Collaboration is key to success in this role. You will work closely with stakeholders from various departments, including engineering, support, marketing, sales, customer success, and rev ops. Your ability to communicate and build strong relationships will be crucial in delivering successful launches and landings.
  • Analyze Market Trends - Your market research will help identify emerging opportunities and potential threats. Your insights will inform our broader product portfolio and help keep us at the forefront of the ABM, B2B Advertising, and GTM technology markets.
  • Manage Product Lifecycle - From inception to adoption, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle. This includes product planning, development, launch, and post-launch analysis. You will define and measure product success metrics for each new feature and ensure that we deliver value to our customers.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in AI and Data Science - A strong background in AI and data science is essential. You should have hands-on experience developing AI/ML models and building Gen AI features powered by LLMs. You should have a solid understanding of data science principles. Your AI chops will be vital in driving innovation and product success.
  • B2B SaaS Experience - Experience in B2B SaaS space and familiarity with MarTech or SalesTech are highly desirable. You should understand the challenges faced by sales, marketing, and customer success teams, and be able to tailor products accordingly.
  • Proven Track Record - We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in product management. You should have 3 to 5 years of total experience leading product initiatives, with at least 1+ year focused on AI or data science. Prior experience delivering successful products with relative autonomy is expected for this role.
  • Strong Analytical Skills - Analytical skills are a must. You will need to analyze data, interpret market trends, and make informed decisions. Your ability to think critically, problem solve, and make tough prioritization decisions are all key to your success.
  • Excellent Communication - Effective communication is crucial in this role. You should be able to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Your ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders will be a significant asset.
