About The Role:

Demandbase is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to join our growing Accounting team. Reporting to the Director - Procure to Pay you will play a key role in scaling our AP operations by building efficient processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for managing the entire procure-to-pay process, overseeing expense report auditing, and providing critical spend, DPO, and expense management analytics to support strategic decision-making.

What you'll be Doing:

• Manage AP Operations: Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments.
• Inbox Management: Respond to AP-related inquiries and tickets within a 3-day SLA.
• Vendor & Business Partner Coordination: Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors to facilitate a smooth AP process.
• Invoice Processing: Review and process high-volume invoices in the P2P system with accuracy and efficiency.
• Compliance & Reporting: Prepare and file 1099 forms to ensure compliance with IRS regulations.
• Month-End Close Support: Assist with monthly reporting and provide analysis on spend trends, DPO, and expenses.
• Expense Audits: Review employee expense reports to ensure adherence to company policy.
• Purchase Approvals: Oversee and approve Amazon Business orders in a timely manner.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Support additional accounting and finance initiatives as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• 7 - 10 years of experience in Accounts Payable and General Accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to process improvement.
• Experience with ZIP and NetSuite (preferred).
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.
