JOB SUMMARY: The Denver Broncos Football Club is seeking a Senior Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics to lead a dynamic team responsible for advancing data-driven decision-making across the Denver Broncos organization. The Senior Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics is responsible for building data-driven solutions focused on increasing revenue, enhancing fan engagement, and improving operational efficiency aligned with Denver Broncos’ mission and core values: Growth and Innovation Mindset, Grit and Resiliency, Strive for Excellence, Do the Right Thing, and Accountability and Financial Discipline.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Insights and Data Driven Decisions
    • Lead the development and implementation of analytical models to drive strategic decision-making, including ticket pricing, fan behavior and engagement
    • Deliver innovative solutions and optimize decision-making that utilizes statistical modeling, machine learning, AI, and predictive analytics
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify insights to drive the business and develop dashboards for real-time reporting
    • Identify and implement the latest trends and technologies in analytics to continuously enhance data-driven decision-making processes
  • Data Management and Compliance
    • Develop and lead the overall data strategy, including collection, storage and management of data sets focused on driving revenue, enhancing fan engagement, and improving fan experience
    • Identify and deploy innovative data sets and data management technologies to improve efficiency and analytics capabilities
    • Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy and compliance with industry regulations and standards
    • Coordinate with IT and legal teams to ensure data management practices comply with relevant laws and regulations
  • CRM Systems Management
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive CRM strategy leveraging leading technologies to drive the Broncos’ business and fans goals
    • Provide ongoing recommendations to the Ticketing and Partnership teams on how best to leverage our CRM to execute their strategic vision & automate tasks
    • Manage the CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information.
    • Evaluate, implement, and manage leading CRM systems and tools that support data collection, analysis, segmentation, and personalization efforts.
  • Email and SMS Execution
    • Develop and implement strategies and technologies to enhance customer engagement and retention through personalized communication
    • Create segmented audiences based on behavior and preferences to deliver messaging that supports revenue generation and fan experience
    • Ensure compliance with email and SMS marketing regulations, including opt-in/opt-out processes
    • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling content for email and SMS communications
  • Collaboration and leadership
    • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to align Business Intelligence & Analytics initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
    • Lead special projects and innovation to stay ahead of industry trends

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and combined minimum 5 years of Business Intelligence & Analytics experience, preferably with experience in Sport & Entertainment
  • Demonstrated understanding of forecasting and predictive analytics
  • Experience with Event Ticketing tools (e.g., Ticketmaster), CRM Systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics & KORE) and Marketing Automation tools (e.g., Eloqua, Adobe Journey Optimizer)
  • Experience with research/survey tools usage is a plus (i.e. YouGov, Qualtrics, etc.)
  • Experience in developing and managing modern analytics technologies and coding languages (e.g., AI, SQL, R, Python) workflows, with a focus on efficiency and scalability
  • Experience with modern data acquisition and management systems (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Experience with data or privacy-related experience, including implementation, monitoring, and compliance with privacy, data protection, and data governance policies and procedures for one or more business units
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards, all with a professional and courteous attitude.
  • Prior experience with inventory management or pricing optimization
  • Self-motivated and solutions oriented
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Ability to work all home Broncos games, nights/weekends and keep a flexible schedule

  • Proven track record of success in cross-functional work environment
  • Highly organized, motivated and responsible with good time and project management abilities - comfortable working on multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is $175,500 - $193,604. Salary based on assessment of qualifications.
