We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter.

At DEPT®, you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build.

THE ROLE

As Group Director, Paid Media (Omni-Channel), you provide visionary leadership for a team of mobile app acquisition performance media experts, blending strategic clarity, analytical rigor, and operational excellence. You are a recognized expert in omni-channel mobile acquisition and direct response growth, ensuring best-in-class execution while enabling teams to deliver scalable, high-impact work with precision.

You bring deep expertise across Google UAC, Apple Search Ads, social channels (Meta, TikTok, Snap, etc.), and mobile DSPs, with a strong command of mobile measurement partners (MMPs) and advanced measurement frameworks. You are equally comfortable shaping long-term growth strategy and getting hands-on when priorities shift, challenges arise, or deeper analysis is required.

As Group Director, you foster high-performing, adaptable teams that thrive in fast-moving environments. You champion experimentation, incrementality, and marginality-based decision-making, helping clients and internal teams move beyond last-touch thinking toward sustainable, efficient growth. You remain at the forefront of mobile innovation, measurement evolution, and platform changes, influencing both client outcomes and broader business strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead and oversee a team of omni-channel mobile app growth experts for enterprise level clients, ensuring consistent delivery of strategic, tactical, and technical excellence aligned to integrated media and growth plans.

  • Oversee team resourcing, utilization, and capacity planning across accounts, maintaining flexibility to adapt quickly as priorities, platforms, or business needs shift.
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert in mobile app marketing, with deep specialization in Google UAC, Apple Search Ads, paid social, and mobile DSPs, setting best practices across direct response acquisition.

  • Act as a primary escalation point for complex performance, measurement, and attribution challenges, stepping in hands-on when needed to diagnose issues, pressure-test assumptions, and unlock growth.

  • Partner with clients to define mobile growth strategies that ladder up to broader business objectives, LTV targets, and efficiency KPIs.

  • Lead strategic use of MMPs (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch), ensuring correct implementation, attribution integrity, and alignment between platform reporting and internal analytics.

  • Champion performance media incrementally testing, marginality-based optimization, and experimentation frameworks, guiding teams and clients toward more accurate measurement of true impact in partnership with cross functional teams supporting these efforts.

  • Drive talent development, mentorship, and succession planning, cultivating leaders who are both strategic thinkers and strong operators.

  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement, including new tools, testing methodologies, automation, and evolving mobile privacy solutions.

  • Ensure client satisfaction and business growth through clear storytelling, actionable insights, and executive-level presentations that influence decision-making.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 10+ years of performance marketing experience, with deep specialization in mobile app growth and omni-channel direct response acquisition.

  • Extensive hands-on expertise across Google UAC, Apple Search Ads, major social platforms, and familiarity with mobile DSPs as a plus.

  • In-depth experience working with MMPs, including attribution models, SKAN, privacy frameworks, and cross-platform measurement challenges.

  • Strong background in incrementally testing, experimentation design, and marginality-based optimization, with the ability to translate complex findings into clear recommendations.

  • Proven experience leading and developing multiple managers or teams, with a track record of building adaptable, high-performing organizations.

  • Comfort operating at both the strategic and executional levels, including the willingness to get hands on keyboard when necessary.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities, ambiguity, and fast-paced environments without sacrificing quality or clarity.

  • Experience presenting mobile growth strategy, measurement frameworks, and performance insights to senior marketing leaders and C-level executives.

  • Strong client-facing presence, with the ability to act as a trusted escalation point and strategic partner.

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
