Senior Campaign Manager (FTC)
This role is a fixed term contract through until 31st December 2026 in the first instance, with potential for extention.
This role is part of our eBay Inhouse team, where you will be employed by DEPT® but embedded within eBay.
JOB PURPOSE
As a Senior Campaign Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of CRM campaigns, ensuring strategy is translated into clear, actionable plans and executed to a best-in-class standard. Embedded within the client’s CRM team, you will act as the key link between Marketing Managers and Campaign Managers, driving alignment, accuracy, and timely delivery across all campaign activity.
You will oversee complex campaign components from briefing through to deployment, maintaining high quality standards while proactively identifying risks and resolving challenges across stakeholders. You will also play a key role in leveraging performance data to optimise results, improving operational efficiency, and championing best practices across the team.
In addition, you will support the development of team members through mentoring and line management, contributing to a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Management
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of CRM campaigns across channels including onsite, in-app, push notifications, and email
- Translate CRM strategy into structured, results-driven campaign plans, supporting the Marketing Manager in delivering against key KPIs
- Oversee multiple campaign components and timelines, ensuring delivery is accurate, on time, and to a best-in-class standard
- Proactively manage campaign risks and dependencies, identifying issues early and implementing effective solutions
- Maintain clear visibility of all campaign and project statuses, balancing workload and ensuring effective resource allocation
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
- Act as the primary point of connection between Marketing Managers and Campaign Managers to ensure alignment and clarity across all workstreams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all agency and eBay stakeholders as a trusted partner
- Ensure consistent communication across all stakeholders, tailoring messaging to drive clarity, alignment, and informed decision-making
- Lead and mentor Campaign Managers, providing regular feedback, development support, and performance guidance
- Support senior stakeholders in managing campaign resourcing and capacity, enabling the delivery of innovative projects
Performance and Process Optimisation
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, using data and insights to optimise targeting, engagement, and conversion
- Provide stakeholders with clear reporting and actionable recommendations to improve future campaign performance and inform CRM strategy
- Champion quality assurance across all campaign deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to best practices
- Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and campaign processes, driving efficiencies across the team
- Develop clear, detailed, and actionable creative briefs, working closely with creative teams to deliver high-quality, on-brand assets
- Work closely with agency partners to develop best-in-class examples of briefs and actively upskill Campaign Managers
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience managing end-to-end CRM campaigns in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Strong understanding of data-driven marketing, including segmentation, targeting, and performance optimisation
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across agency and client teams
- Experience leading complex campaign workflows and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable improvements
- Expertise in writing clear, insight-driven creative briefs
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Experience mentoring or line managing team members, with a focus on development and performance
- Strong communication skills
