Customer Service Engineer
About the Role:
As a Customer Service Controls Engineer, you’ll deliver service and support to end users for components and systems. All in all, you'll be a valuable member of our Customer Service team, supporting our efforts to build lasting relationships and deliver on our promises. We’ll appreciate your superior communication skills and attention to details for the Customer Service team as you answer support calls, identify and understand issues, review data, and develop appropriate solutions for a plan of action. In this role, you will…
- Be a member of the 24/7 on call team, being ready to take a call and provide remote assistance within 15 minutes of receiving a call.
- Act as the primary contact for a site, visiting with customers to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide information about products or services and obtain feedback, keeping records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
- Maintain organized records of project warranties, main contacts for support, and issue warranty/service discontinuance orders.
- Stay current with systems information, changes, and updates and possess knowledge of relevant software, computer applications, and equipment.
- Follow up with customers, referring unresolved customer complaints to designated departments and ensuring that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers’ problems.
We’re excited about you because…
- You have 3-5 years of experience working with fully automated conveyor and PLC control systems.
- You have Help Desk experience as well as a working knowledge of high and low voltage electrical systems.
- You are available to work on a Saturday or Sunday if required, to support customers, practicing exemplary punctuality.
- You possess customer service skills and best practices, being willing to cooperate with others in order to serve your customers, vendors, and team.
- You skillfully juggle competing priorities, adjusting effectively to schedules and job ambiguity.
