Intern (Public Relations - Data/Digital)

POSITION PROFILE  

We are currently seeking a passionate self-starter to join the agency as a Data/ Digital Intern. If you have an interest in using data to tell compelling stories, you might just be the right fit for us. Working closely with our Analysts, Strategists, Performance/SEO Specialist and Marketing Communications teams, this internship with DeVries Global provides real-life work experience, an excellent learning/networking opportunity and a chance to help evolve the agency’s data-driven practices. 

Candidates should also be familiar with various social platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, etc.) and the latest news and trends impacting these channels.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Gather data from various primary & secondary sources (e.g. YouGov, Survey Monkey, TalkWalker, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Global Web Index and Similar web)  
  • Organise, process and analyse data to develop actionable insights and recommendations to support key client accounts 
  • Support digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, Social Media and Paid Media 
  • Research on emerging trends in social/digital space to internal stakeholders, demonstrating an outstanding ability to identify and enhance opportunities to engage in online content and media marketing for clients 
  • Monitor and evaluate digital marketing results, aligning with client KPIs and objectives 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • How to write strong Boolean taxonomies, scripts and query check 
  • How to develop benchmarks for success measures based on industry standards and platform algorithms 
  • Exposure to different client industries including beauty, sports, automotive and healthcare 
  • How to design and create dashboards to showcase key measurement metrics 
  • How to develop innovative solutions to evolve client reporting and data storytelling 
  • How to present data in an engaging, understandable manner to drive impactful strategic communications  

REQUIREMENTS  

Qualified candidates must: 

  • Be comfortable in interpreting a variety of different data sources from qualitative research to primary survey data to secondary data sources and creating one cohesive story 
  • Be a strong team player but also able to work independently 
  • Effectively managing multiple projects at once and anticipating potential crises and how to prevent them 
  • Have a passion for digital and social media marketing and a hunger for knowledge 
  • Willingness to learn new tools and pick up new skillsets. 
  • Confident in presenting in a group setting 
  • Have strong verbal and written English skills (proficiency in an Asian language is a plus) 
  • Must be able to work in Singapore without any work visa sponsorships
