Position Summary 

​​OceanX is seeking a VP of AI-Driven Marketing to lead the integration of AI, data, and technology into the company’s marketing engine. This leader will bridge creative brand storytelling with data-driven strategies, ensuring every marketing initiative is optimized for measurable impact. Reporting directly to the co-CEOs, the VP of AI-Driven Marketing will oversee the marketing team, driving B2B demand generation, full-funnel optimization, and AI-enabled marketing processes.

The ideal candidate will combine a strong technical understanding of AI and marketing tools with creative vision, team leadership, and the ability to execute complex, data-informed campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 

  • Strategic Growth & Demand Generation: Develop and execute B2B demand generation strategies aligned with aggressive revenue and pipeline targets.
  • AI Integration & Automation: Lead adoption of AI tools and automation across marketing workflows, including content personalization, campaign optimization, and predictive analytics.
  • Full-Funnel Attribution & Analytics: Implement multi-touch attribution models and advanced analytics to measure and optimize ROI across all marketing channels.
  • Marketing Technology & AI Stack Management: Own selection, integration, and adoption of AI-enabled marketing tools and platforms.
  • Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Collaborate with Partnerships team to design and execute data-driven ABM campaigns targeting high-value accounts.
  • Conversion Optimization: Foster a culture of A/B testing and CRO to continually improve digital engagement and lead conversion.
  • Budget & ROI Management: Oversee marketing budgets and efficient scaling of acquisition efforts.
  • Content & Thought Leadership: Develop a content strategy that strengthens brand positioning, engages key audiences, and promotes the organization’s expertise and mission within the industry.
  • Lifecycle Marketing: Use cohort analysis and predictive models to optimize post-acquisition engagement, retention, and expansion.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and grow a team of data- and AI-savvy marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Executive Reporting: Present marketing performance, insights, and recommendations to the executive team and board.

Qualifications: 

Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven success developing and executing marketing strategies that drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Hands-on experience deploying AI tools, including prompt engineering and leveraging large language models (LLMs) for data synthesis and content workflows.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and sales cycles, buyer personas, product positioning, and performance marketing.
  • Experience with demand generation, digital marketing, content marketing, CRM systems, and analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics).
  • Data-driven decision-maker focused on measuring and improving marketing performance.
  • Skilled leader with experience building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic startup environments.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings, to support cross-time zone collaboration.
  • Adaptable to varying workloads, balancing periods of focused execution with lighter operational phases.

Compensation and Benefits:   

Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset), and an excellent benefits package, including a comprehensive employer paid medical plan and CPF.
